Prior to 1930 meetings were held in private homes in the city of York, Pennsylvania.
About 1933 an assembly moved into the old Emory Cigar Factory at 129 North Penn Street.
In the late 1940’s a small building was purchased at 1700 W. Poplar Street and was known as the “Gospel Chapel.”
1969, a larger building was purchased at 1154 N. George Street. In its new location it became the “North York Gospel Chapel.”
Due to its growth, particularly with young families and children, the assembly built a new chapel at 2854 Lewisberry Rd, and moved into it December, 2002.
